In collaboration with the UK College of Engineering, College of Design, MG-CAFE', and the Kentucky Department of Forestry, Chad Niman and the Wood Utilization Center is leading the way with hardwood cross-laminated timber construction.  Cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels are an innovative wooden product that has gained popularity in recent years because of their high strength-to-weight ratio improving construction efficiency through the use of a natural and renewable material.
