Mission Statement

Increase the long-term value added, sustainable income, and sustainable flow of economic, ecological, and social goods and services from the land, natural resources, and people of Eastern Kentucky and the Appalachian Region.
 

Operations

The Robinson Center is headquartered at the facility formerly known as "Robinson Station" in Quicksand, Kentucky and includes operations involving Robinson Station, Robinson Forest, and the Robinson Wood Center.

Approved for Two New Buildings

Bids were awarded in December 2023 to replace four permanent structures lost to flooding.

Flooding

Robinson Center took significant flood damage in July 2022 and is in the process of rebuilding. 

Keep up with our Progress

Robinson Center was heavily damaged after the floods, and we are still dealing with the aftermath. However, we are back, better, and stronger than before, focusing heavily on our research and programs for Eastern Kentucky.
